🌿Social Media Content Creator

What you’ll do: Craft engaging social media posts using Canva and Instagram Edits to boost awareness for critical conservation projects.

Perks: Training is provided with a flexible time commitment. Perfect for honing your digital marketing skills while giving back!

🌿Documentary Editor: Cycling the Danube for Conservation

What you’ll do: Edit a compelling 30-minute documentary combining interviews, narration, and footage to share an inspiring journey.

Perks: Utilize your experience in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro, contribute to powerful environmental storytelling, and gain valuable portfolio recognition.

Both roles are remote-friendly and offer a chance to showcase your skills.

⚡️ Shocktober is a reminder that knowing what to do can make a vital difference!

Hato Hone St John is helping people across the Western Bay learn three simple steps for responding to a cardiac arrest: call 111, start CPR and use an AED.

Last year, more than 18,000 people were trained through "3 Steps for Life", while over 36,000 people learnt CPR for their loved ones through the campaign.

FREE "3 Steps for Life" sessions are happening locally this month, helping people feel more prepared to act when it matters most.

St Chads Trust Communication Centre Rotorua needs a handy volunteer to help mount 9 large, beautiful wooden star sculptures around our facility walls and ceilings!
These have been crafted by our talented artists for Matariki

The Details:
⭐Time Commitment: Quick one-off project (estimated 3–5 hours)
⭐Location: St Chads Facility (2 Devon St, Rotorua)
⭐What’s Needed: Drill & standard tools, a tall ladder/equipment for high placements, and the know-how to find secure anchor points (wall anchors/screws reimbursed!).

The Welcome Bay Community Centre is on the lookout for friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable Youth Programme Volunteers to support our local 14–18 year olds!

Whether you’re assisting with tasty kai preparation, helping set up fun activities, or serving as a positive role model alongside experienced facilitators, your time can make a real impact.

Location: Welcome Bay, Tauranga
When: Mondays & Tuesdays, 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM (Regular weekly commitment)

What You'll Do: Help with activity setup/pack down, prepare kai, support sessions (sports, art, wellbeing, and more!), and build positive connections with youth.

Requirement: NZ Police Vetting check required.

🎄Join the Team Behind the Christmas Cheer at Tauranga Community Foodbank!

Want to make a real difference in your community this holiday season?
Tauranga Community Foodbank is looking for fit, friendly volunteers to join our Meet & Greet teams for the busy Christmas period!

💠The Role: Greet donors, sort donated food items, and keep the holiday spirit moving.
💠When: Weekdays (9 AM – 2 PM), 16th Nov – 23rd Dec 2026.
💠Commitment: Just 1 shift per week (minimum 5 shifts total).
💠Details: Must be able to lift up to 12kg and stand for 2-hour stretches.
💠Training: Mandatory 2-hour training provided in early November.
