Pedal the Plateau is a new volcanic recreational cycling holiday tour covering 365 kilometres of the Central Plateau of Aotearoa New Zealand. A first for New Zealand, it will be staged from 22 to 28 March 2015 and annually at this time of year thereafter. Pedal the Plateau offers six days in the saddle and a full rest day on the slopes of the Tongariro National Park world heritage area. Excellent
