Another successful Mr Whippy Taupo 5k Series wrapped up last Wednesday at Wharewaka Point with the SPCA Taupo & Central Plateau Charity Run/Walk followed by the series prize giving.
Thank you to everyone (Runners, walkers and supporters) who joined us at Wharewaka for the Mr Whippy Taupo 5k Series. With ages ranging from 5 years (Kids Dash) to 85+ (5k Walk).
Congratulations to all our winners and record breakers - too many to mention here though special mention goes to Cameron Gavin who broke his MW40-44 record three times. Finalized results and records can be viewed here. https://shorturl.at/OQcnJ
$300 and several food items from the charity run has been donated to SPCA Taupo & Central Plateau.
A big thank you must also go to our small group of helpers – course set up/pack up, registration, timing, announcing and results.

Club runs (midweek and weekends) will start after Easter, details will be updated on our website and posted here on facebook.

Join us at Wharewaka Wednesday 25 March from 5.30pm for our charity night. Bring along your donation of $$$ or pet food for SPCA Taupō & Central Plateau

This will be a fun night where runners can give walking a go and walkers allowed to run along a different course. Bring your dog on a leash to help you along the way.

Prizes for biggest, smallest and best dressed dogs.

The Kids Dash course will be run backwards.
