So thrilled for Raukūmara Pae Maunga Restoration Project, all of their hard work is paying off!

Where there’s a will there’s a way 🤣 it’s not every day a possum squeezes its way into a DOC250 trap!

Just another day at the Epro office… 😎

When your worksite looks like this, you know it’s going to be a good day!

Well… this isn’t quite how we expected an Epro ute to make the news! 😳🚙💨

One of our vehicles found itself at the centre of a pretty wild afternoon yesterday after being carjacked on SH5 during a police incident.

Thankfully, our team member is okay — which is by far the most important thing!

A huge thank you to both the Taupo and Hawke’s Bay Police teams involved for their incredibly quick response and for getting the situation under control. We’re very grateful for the work you do. Bay of Plenty & Taupo Polices certainly had a more eventful day than most of us at Epro!

Never a dull moment in the field… although this is one job story we’d happily not repeat! 😅

The man's first car was spiked by police, but he wasn't ready to hand himself in.

A great milestone for the Raukūmara Pae Maunga Restoration Project, with Block 1 pre-feed now successfully completed!

We are proud to be part of this important mahi, working alongside the Raukūmara Pae Maunga team and project partners to deliver predator control across some of the most remote and challenging terrain in Aotearoa.

Block 1 Pre-feed Complete ✅

The first stage of predator control in the Raukūmara has been completed safely across all 50,391 ha.

No toxin is used at this stage, it simply helps possums and rats recognise the bait before the Aetial 1080 application.

With 81.3% rat presence recorded this mahi is critical for protecting kiwi, kōkako and other native taonga.

He Mihi Nui - to our partners, Whānau who visited the load site, and everyone supporting the kaupapa. Weather will guide the timing of the next stage, and our teams are already out talking with our communities about kuri safety and up-coming monitoring.

Great result for the Epro team!

We’ve just completed our annual ISO recertification audit, covering three international standards that set the benchmark for how a company manages quality, environmental impact, and health & safety:

🔹 ISO 9001 – Quality Management
🔹 ISO 14001 – Environmental Management
🔹 ISO 45001 – Health & Safety Management

Only one minor observation was raised across the entire two-day assessment, with the auditor from Telarc noting it demonstrates “the Senior Leadership Team’s longstanding commitment to allocating resources and ensuring that the management systems comply with the requirements of the standards.”

The auditor also recognised our culture and the involvement of our staff in maintaining and improving our systems, saying “thanks again for introducing me to the beautiful team at Epro and for your excellent work. It was a genuine pleasure meeting everyone!”

Holding all three standards as part of an integrated management system puts Epro amongst a small group of companies in New Zealand, a reflection of the hard work our whole team puts in, from the field to the office, to keep our systems, safety practices, and environmental standards to the highest level.

Thanks to everyone at Epro for making this happen.

Ground control is where the real hard yards happen, and our team are out daily getting it done!

Trap boxes don’t walk themselves into the bush. Our crews carry, ride and hike them across bush and farmland, then keep those trap lines maintained.

This ferret is one less predator threatening our native wildlife—and that’s exactly why we do what we do.

Every trap. Every catch. Every day. Making a difference. 💚
