We are SO grateful to the Taradale Bridge Club for hosting a charity tournament on our behalf. Over 60 people genetously supported the event. Great to be able to work collegially to support our community ❀️

πŸŽ‰ 15 years of CanBead β€” and we need YOUR help to keep going!
For 15 years, CanBead has been walking alongside New Zealanders facing illness, trauma, and loss β€” offering free creative therapy workshops through the simple, healing power of beading. Thousands of people across Aotearoa have found comfort, connection, and community with us. πŸ’›
Now we're asking you to help us reach the next 15 years.
Our Givealittle campaign closes 15 June β€” just days away! We're still a long way from our goal and every dollar counts. Whether it's $15 to celebrate our birthday or whatever you can spare, it all goes towards reaching more New Zealanders when they need it most.

Wish us a happy 15th anniversary and keep our connections going for another 15!

🧡✨ For 15 years, CanBead has been showing up for people facing illness, trauma, and loss β€” offering free beading workshops as a space to breathe, heal, and find community.
That's 15 years of quiet, meaningful mahi. And they want to keep going.
A small donation β€” even just $15 to mark the milestone β€” helps ensure no one has to face their hardest days alone. πŸ’›

"Whoa what a change that hour and a bit did! We now have a fortnightly beading craft group. My granddaughter and myself do a variety of beading β€” it's a pleasure to be able to do this with my granddaughter. So far we have done spiders and dragonflies, scorpions, butterflies, little miniature pot plants, all with beads, all shapes and sizes. We have just tried doing a spiderweb β€” the possibility is endless. We have found it to be relaxing, entertaining and a great lot of fun for young and old."
