🎶 Every community has its pillars — and today on behalf of Chamber Music NZ and Yellow Brick Road we want to thank Angel Harding.

Her behind the scenes mahi kept everything running smoothly all week.

She made sure everyone was fed and hydrated, and even with a b**g arm, she still showed up every day to open up and keep things in check.

Angel has a big heart for families affected by family violence and a genuine love for the Taheke community — and not just here, but for the surrounding areas too.

We’re absolutely blessed to have this connection with someone who loves the people as much as we do. Thank you, Angel! We Love you lots 🎶

This round we introduced a beautiful new element to our workshops — Taonga Puoro with TE ARA TAKETAKE, led by Alex & Kylie.

They shared incredible instruments made from nature, each with its own story and soothing sound. Our mokopuna enjoyed every moment and had us absolutely captivated. 🌿💛

When we say Taheke TURNED OUT — we mean it.

For our final meal, the whānau made us a full underground hāngī… and our mokopuna got to experience it too.

Beautiful kai, beautiful people, beautiful community.

You just can’t get this kind of manaakitanga/Leveki in the city. Taheke, you wrapped around us this week and we felt every bit of it. ❤️🔥
