Obviously surfing is a massive part of the mahi at Surf ORA but a lot goes on behind the scenes to make it all happen. Not all of us are die hard surfers but all contribute equally to the mahi for our takata whaiora.

With less than three months until our first Surf ORA surf‑therapy sessions for the 26/27 summer, the wairua is building in beautiful New Brighton. Our preparation is ramping up, our volunteers are gathering, and our kaupapa is getting ready to welcome tākata whaiora back to the moana.
