It is 100 years since the birth into heaven of the Venerable Suzanne Aubert. Suzanne was one of the first Catholic missionaries to Aotearoa. Using local Māori and European knowledge, she made and administered herbal medicines to the Maori in Hawkes Bay, set up a mission at Jerusalem on the Wanganui River and opened the Home of Compassion and Soup Kitchen in Wellington.

YOU ARE INVITED! This coming Saturday (3rd October), you are invited to join the Community of the Beatitudes for the annual St Thérèse Rose petals evening. 5:30pm at the Beatitudes Chapel, 67 Leithfield Rd.
Beautiful music with Thérèse's own words.
Write a letter to this little Saint known for obtaining graces from heaven for us here on earth.
Bring a plate of food for a pot luck shared dinner afterwards.
