🚒 A HUGE THANK YOU TO RIVERTOWN AUTOMOTIVE! 🚒
We want to give a massive shout-out to the team at Rivertown Automotive Kaiapoi for their incredible, ongoing support of the Kaiapoi Volunteer Fire Brigade!
They keep us moving by issuing Warrants of Fitness (WoF) for our critical support vehicles. Unfortunately, our beautiful 1921 Dennis fire engine seen here doesn't quite fit into this catergory, but they make sure the rest of our fleet is safe, compliant, and ready to respond whenever the community calls! 🙌
Community support like this keeps our volunteers on the road and doing what they do best. Next time your vehicle needs a service, repair, or a WoF, make sure to support the locals who support us! 🛠️🚗

🚨 NEW SHOES FOR A VINTAGE LEGEND! 🚨
A massive shout-out and thank you to the awesome team at KATS (Kaiapoi Alignment & Tyres)! 🛞✨
They've just sorted out a fresh set of rear tyres for our historic 1921 Vintage Dennis Fire Appliance. Keeping a 105-year-old piece of firefighting history on the road isn't always easy, but local legends like the crew at KATS make it possible.
We love seeing local businesses step up to help keep North Canterbury's heritage alive and rolling. Next time your everyday ride needs new rubber or an alignment, make sure to pop in and see them on Williams Street—they truly go above and beyond! 🙌🔥

🚨 HUGE SHOUT-OUT TO Repco Kaiapoi! 🚒✨
We want to extend a massive thank you to the team at Repco Kaiapoi for their incredible generosity and support of local history!
They have kindly donated:
• A 6V battery to keep the power running
• A dedicated charger to maintain it
• Premium cleaning products to keep her looking sharp
Thanks to their support, our historic 1921 Dennis Fire Engine is getting exactly what she needs to stay charged up, clean, and preserved for the community to enjoy.
It is local businesses like Repco Kaiapoi that keep community heritage alive. Next time you need parts, tools, or advice, please pop in and see the team—they truly go above and beyond!
Thank you again, team! 🙌

🚨 Daylight Savings – Check Your Smoke Alarms! 🚨
With daylight savings here, it’s a great time to check your smoke alarms and make sure they’re working properly.
Smoke alarms save lives by providing an early warning in the event of a fire, giving you and your family precious time to get out safely.
✅ Test your smoke alarms.
✅ Replace batteries if needed.
✅ Make sure you have working smoke alarms
✅ Have an escape plan and make sure everyone in your household knows what to do if a fire breaks out.
A working smoke alarm can make all the difference. Take a few minutes this weekend to check yours and help keep your family safe.

Happy Father’s Day to all dads and especially the firefighter dads! 🚒❤️

Behind every firefighter is a family who understands the late nights, the call-outs, and the moments when Dad has to leave at a moment’s notice. But being a firefighter dad is about more than protecting the community — it’s about being a hero at home too.

To all the firefighter dads who lead by example, stay strong and inspire the next generation — Happy Father’s Day! 👨‍🚒❤️
