In the past few weeks our Rotary club has distributed dictionaries to students at Crawshaw, Whitiora and Rhode St Primary Schools.

Dictionaries teach children so much... not just the words and their meanings, research skills, reading, alphabet, and how to care for books, as the students get to keep their very own dictionary - and they love them!!

This morning we enjoyed hosting visitors from Rotary clubs from around our district - come back anytime!
It was great to strengthen old and new connections, and to see how we can 'united for good'.

This morning WSR had the privilage of attending a behind-the-scenes tour of the BNZ Theatre from our very own club member Ross Hargood, Chairman of the Waikato Regional Property Trust.

We are incredibly lucky to have this beautiful addition to our city!

A very special Santa and his beautiful Elf assistant, plus a bunch of other Rotary helpers, made sure the kids had a great time at yesterday's Kin Carers Connect Christmas party. There was a someone special missing this year, but the team made sure the kids had the best day... thank you all ❤️
