Streetworks was originally the dream of one young woman; when the dream was shared with friends it quickly caught on. Streetworks operated as a grassroots initiative run by friends for four years until 2011, when it formed a charitable trust. Streetworks is now driven by a team of over 30 people and is a passionate movement of individuals, churches and organisations working together to serve Hamilton city.
