🚗 West Coast Vintage Car Club – Annual Scenicland Rally 🚗

The West Coast Vintage Car Club Annual Scenicland Rally is happening this Saturday, 14 March 2026!

📍 Location: All Saints Gymnasium & GDC Car Parks (formerly Civic Centre)
🕣 Public Viewing: 8:30am – 10:00am
💰 Entry: Free

Come along and admire 34 beautiful vintage and classic cars on display before they head out on the rally. The lineup spans an incredible range of motoring history, from a 1924 Essex right through to vehicles from 1989.

🚘 Cars will be travelling from Nelson, Blenheim, Canterbury, as well as several from around the West Coast.

It’s a great chance to get up close to some stunning classic vehicles and chat with their proud owners.
Bring the family and enjoy a relaxed morning of motoring history!

Greymouth Rodders Hotrod club would like to pass on their condolences to the family of Larry Wehner who passed away earlier this week .
Larry was a founding member , and the first president of our club . Starting with a Model A Coupe build , he moved on to his 57 Chevy Sedan which saw numerous changes under Larry's ownership and he spent a lot of time drag racing it at Ruapuna . Next was the build of the 23 Track T Roadster using the go fast mechanicals removed from the 57 Chevy .
Larry and Diane moved to a lifestyle block out the coast road and started their family and this saw him moving away from cars and into motorcycles .
His love of going fast staying with him and anyone who has ever ridden the coast road highway with Larry can attest to this .
RIP Larry from all your friends in the hotrod community .
