📣 Come and celebrate the launch of Mary’s new book “Explore with Me Geraldine”. We are very grateful for Mary’s support of our new centre!
Find out more in the post below.

Explore with Me Geraldine is due back from the printers shortly, which means it must be time to celebrate, with a... BOOK LAUNCH!

🗓️ Monday 14th September
🕓 4-4.30pm (short & sweet, like me)
📍 Geraldine Farmshop & Cafe, 56 Main North Road

Come along for a fun & relaxed story time, spot prizes, bubbles (the kids' kind, sorry), and your very own signed copy (or three - no judgement here, we all know someone overseas who needs a wee reminder of home!).

This book has been a genuine community effort from start to finish, and I'm so grateful to every sponsor, stockist and schoolkid who's been part of the journey & shared in the enthusiasm. A huge thank you especially to my wonderful sponsors, whose support is helping fund a book nook in Geraldine's new under-2s kindy.

So bring the whānau, enjoy a cuppa or delicious sweet treat in their cafe, and let's celebrate delightful Geraldine.

Can't wait to see you there!
Mary x

Thank you to the Geraldine Lions Club, you are Gold Sponsor for our new Centre at 36 Wilson Street.

Lions members live by two words. We Serve. In Geraldine that has looked like working bees, event marshalling, the Multi Challenge, and fundraising.

Their Gold sponsorship is a significant boost to the build, and it arrives at the right moment.

And the real thanks will come from the families walking through our door, nappy bag over one shoulder, toddler on the other hip, knowing their child has somewhere good to be.

To the Geraldine Lions, thank you for serving our youngest tamariki so generously.

You can join them. Sponsorship levels run from Supporter through to Platinum, and every level is recognised.

Get in touch with Helen at [email protected] to talk about it.

🚧 New Kindergarten Under Construction – 36 Wilson Street 🚧

We’re excited to have work underway on the new kindergarten at 36 Wilson Street!

To help keep the project running safely and efficiently, we’d like to ask the Geraldine community if you could please leave the two car parks directly in front of the building site at 36 Wilson Street available for our trades and deliveries.

Monday to Friday | 7:30 am – 5:00 pm

We understand parking can be busy, and we really appreciate your patience and support while we complete this project. Keeping these spaces available helps our team access the site safely and keeps the build moving efficiently.

Thank you for your understanding and support! 😊

Thank you Mary for your support!

Each Explore with Me book has a purpose alongside celebrating the place it's about. I'm excited to now share that Explore with Me Geraldine, along with sponsorship from 10 wonderful local businesses, is proudly supporting the creation of a book nook for Geraldine's new under-2s kindergarten - with the build of the kindy now officially underway.

This little nook means Geraldine's youngest readers will have a cosy place to fall in love with stories from the very beginning - and I couldn't be more grateful to everyone helping make it happen.

A huge thank you to all 10 sponsors - I'll be sharing and celebrating each of you individually very soon!

Explore with Me Geraldine - coming September 💛
