We have a very exciting weekend ahead of us! Join us for our baking event on Friday 25th and/or help out at ‘Kids Day Out’ on Saturday 26th 🤗

Our baking event is taking place in the OUSA kitchen and starts at 5pm - you are welcome to come and go as you please!

The ‘Kids Day Out’ has limited spaces so sign up quick through the form in bio and add your name to the roster sheet (found within form) 💐

Come join us for our AGM and help us clean us Brackens Park! We will have FREE Mr Whippy and BBQ provided, sign up through the link in our bio 🙌🙌

Meet us outside St David lecture theatre at 9:40am or meet us at Brackens Lookout at 10am

We will provide all safety equipment, just bring water, appropriate clothing and closed to shoes!

During lunch we will have our quick annual general meeting and then head home around 1pm 🤗

Hey team, we have our next event for you!! We are planting trees to save the Otago peninsula!! 🙌🙌

Arrive at the museum reserve bus stop for 10am - look for the people with SVA shirts on. Please make sure you’re on time and wear appropriate clothing/shoes!

All volunteering equipment and food is provided 💗💗

Applications are now open for all roles on our Executive Committee!
If you want to help plan events, grow relationships with community organisations, and gain management and leadership skills, this may be a good fit for you!

🌟 The application link with more information can be found in our bio, which also contains a document detailing the responsibilities of each executive role
🌟 Fill out the application form by 5 pm on Sunday, 16th of August - our team will then contact you for a short, informal phone interview on the 17-19th of August (evening)
🌟 No prior volunteer or management experience is necessary - the only criteria to apply is enrolment as an Otago tertiary student (University or Polytechnic)
🌟 The SVA executive offers a wide range of roles for every interest!

We loved working with Central Otago Wilding Conifers Control Group!

Otago’s Student Volunteer Army = the dream team!

The weekend of March 21-22nd we were delighted to have 16 students from SVA join us in the quest to control wilding conifers at Jolendale Park and Halfmile in Alexandra.
