Bromley Community Centre The Bromley Community Centre is a Centre to build our community. The hall is also available for hire for private events.

Regular free and affordable community groups, classes and activities happen here, as well as community events like fairs and markets. Bromley Community Centre Hall Hires

Day Times and Weekday Evenings
Whole Complex $30.00 per hour
(Excluding Kiwi and Tui rooms)
$150.00 bond

Meeting Rooms $15.00 per hour plus $100.00 bond
(Kiwi, Kea and Tui Rooms)

Regular groups: Hall hire $15 per hour (At least 6 hires in the year)
Meeting Rooms $10.00 per hour, per room $150 Bond

Friday/Saturday Night (5pm-midnight)
$500 hire
$500 Bond

Our Recreate sessions with Bromley Community Centre are coming up, and we’d love to see you there!

Bring along that pair of pants needing a hem, a favourite item that needs repairing, or a sewing project you’ve been meaning to get back to. Our experienced sewists will be on hand to help, offer advice and get you started.

No sewing machine? No problem! Just bring yourself and your project.

Come along, have a chat, learn a few skills and give something you already own a new lease on life.

Making Complete Meals and Adding Protein

"A balanced meal doesn't have to be expensive—it just needs the right combination of ingredients."

Over the past two weeks we have learnt how to safely prepare, cook and transform potatoes into a variety of meals. This week we'll take the next step by adding protein, canned food and vegetables to create complete, nutritious family meals that are affordable, filling and easy to prepare. And learn how to batch cook and freeze meals, helping save both time and money.

We have been a little quiet of late but hey, we are back alongside Kāwai Rangatahi with a free movie night.

Grab the blankets, pack the warm gears and bring the whānau down to Te Pou Toe Toe courts, Linwood Park, Friday 18 September from 5:30pm-8:30pm (Movie starts 6:15pm)
