Canterbury Whitewater Club

Join us via https://www.canterburywhitewaterclub.co.nz The Whitewater Canoe Club was formed around 1980. For more go to https://whitewater.org.nz

We are the biggest whitewater kayak club in New Zealand, with a membership of about 200. The club organises kayaking trips on South Island rivers, ranging from Grades 2 to 4, runs kayak races, and has a comprehensive instruction scheme. The club participates in river and water management and conservation issues that affect our enjoyment of the rivers we paddle. The club is managed by a Committee that is elected annually. We are a registered Incorporated Society and have a constitution which governs what we do, what members can expect and what is expected of them.
