Great news! The Albert-Eden Local Board have approved a grant to the Sanctuary Mahi Whenua to help develop the gardening area we share at Waterview Community Hub. The 2 main items we can now purchase are a greenhouse to raise seedlings, and 3 compost bins.

🌕 Thank You for Joining Our TSUKIMI Series

From BIG TSUKIMI at Western Springs Garden Community Hall to events at Ōwairaka Connecting Communities Hub, Epsom Community Library, The Waterview Community & Enviro Hub,Pt Chevalier Libraryand The Disabled Citizens Society Inc, we enjoyed sharing Japanese moon-viewing traditions with people across the community through dango-making, crafts and other activities.

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us, supported the series, and helped behind the scenes — and a special thank you to all our wonderful volunteers. 🌕
