A wonderful group of Knox residents have come together because they want to have a say in the way our gardens are planted, cared for, and enjoyed.

Many of our residents have years of gardening experience, knowledge, and ideas to share. Through our new Garden Advisory Group, they will help guide how our outdoor spaces grow and develop, so our grounds continue to be a beautiful, welcoming place for everyone at Knox.

From seasonal planting to caring for special garden areas, this group is helping make our gardens an amazing place for Knox residents, whฤnau, staff, volunteers, and visitors to enjoy all year round.

We are so grateful for the enthusiasm, wisdom, and care our residents bring to this mahi. We canโ€™t wait to see their ideas bloom. ๐ŸŒธ

A major treat for our residents this week! ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ˜Š
A friend of one of our residents brought in his record player and a wonderful collection of vinyl records for everyone to enjoy. There really is nothing quite like the warm sound of vinyl and the memories it brings.
Residents were able to choose from a range of music styles, as well as familiar television theme songs from years gone by. Some sat with their eyes closed, smiling as they immersed themselves in the music, while others sang along, laughed together, and shared memories sparked by the tunes.
It was a day filled with connection, conversation, nostalgia, and joy. Happiness truly abounded as this wonderful group enjoyed a trip down memory lane through the magic of music.

Music therapy is a much-loved part of life at Knox. Each week, residents come together to sing, play instruments, and connect through a specially designed programme that encourages participation, creativity, and fun.

Mary from our Thrive Team joined Emma on the dance floor, bringing so much joy and energy to the room. With talented entertainers, happy faces, and plenty of music, residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of laughter, dancing, and connection.
There is something special about seeing people come together to share a song, a dance, and a smile. The energy was contagious, and it was clear that everyone was having a lovely time.
A special thank you to our Thrive Team, whose creativity, dedication, and hard work make these events happen week after week. These moments of fun, friendship, and engagement don't happen by accidentโ€”they are the result of a team that is committed to helping residents live each day to the fullest.

A huge thank you to St George's Epsom! ๐Ÿ’™
We were deeply touched by the kindness and generosity shown by the wonderful people at St George's, who gifted every Knox employee a homemade biscuit and a sachet of coffee as a thank you for the work we do.
It may seem like a small gesture, but the impact was enormous. The thought, care, and appreciation behind each gift brightened our day and reminded us how fortunate we are to be part of such a supportive community.
Knowing that people are thinking of us and valuing the care our team provides means more than words can express. Your kindness lifted spirits, brought smiles, and reminded us that compassion and gratitude have the power to make a real difference.
