Kia ora, save the date! The Solace Candle Lighting Service is happening Sunday 22 Nov 2026 at 5pm. This is an annual event, an opportunity to gather before the busy holiday season starts and remember our loved ones lost to su***de. Aroha, tears, laughter, peer support and community, Candlelighting has all the feels. Bring a photo of your person and a plate of snacks to share after. There will be a guest speaker, sharing what helps when living with loss. Details to follow. 💜💙💚💛🧡❤️

News! A WAVES bereaved by su***de group is happening in South Auckland (Otahuhu), starting 13 October 2026. This is a free 8 week grief education programme for adults 18+. An opportunity to share your thoughts & feelings around whats happened, discuss the nature of su***de and gain info about how to care for yourself and others after a su***de. Matariki is coming up this weekend, a time for togetherness and remembering. Solace Group is having a shared breakfast at Tasca Cafe in Newmarket this Saturday 11 July 2026 at 9am. Come join us, meet up with old friends, find new ones. Enjoy the coffee ❤️ All su***de bereaved welcome. Solace is a peer support group run by su***de bereaved for su***de bereaved. Sometimes it just helps to be with with others who've had similar experiences and can appreciate the complexity of su***de loss. Tasca is at 25 Nuffield Street, Newmarket, Auckland. There's street parking and a Westfield carpark nearby - if you dont have it already, download the free Westfiled app to get the first 2 hours of parking free.

The Tasca Cafes, inspired by the back street tapas bars of Spain, are comfortable local eateries - big on ambience and tasty food - small on formalities. Each location has taken on its own personality, and both offer a bit of European charm and an escape from the rat race. We look forward to hearing...
