We want to congratulate Sam Johnson on his well-deserved recognition in the 2026 King's Birthday Honours as an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit. 👏

Sam is a familiar friend to us, having served as a Plunket Foundation member and, most recently, as a face representing Plunket to families across New Zealand.

Beyond his connection to us, Sam has given so much to this country, from founding the Student Volunteer Army, mobilising thousands of volunteers in response to disasters, and championing the role of young people in building stronger communities.

Our warmest congratulations to Sam on this thoroughly deserved honour! 🎉

Helmets help protect tamariki from injury as they are learning to explore on wheels. This handy 2-4-1 rule makes sure your child’s head is protected every time they ride their bike, trike or scooter.

Bonus tip: Your child’s helmet needs to be the right size for their head, not one they will grow into.

Session includes:
When babies should start, signs of readiness, introducing first foods, textures & finger food, identifying gagging vs choking, intolerance & allergies, and food safety. Teething & teeth cleaning.
Resources emailed after each session.

ONLINE SLEEP GROUPS FOR JUNE

Sessions include: the basics of sleep, discussing the reality and expectations of sleep, when do babies fall into more of a 'sleep routine', how to support baby to sleep independently, safe sleeping practices.
Over 4months includes 'sleep regression'
