Join huddl for a workshop to introduce the fundamentals of strategic planning. Designed specifically for community groups and for purpose organisations, this session will cover:
• Understand what a strategic plan is and why it matters.
• How to identify your purpose, vision, and values
• Setting strategic priorities and measurable goals
• How to translate those goals into an action plan

Finance 101 for Non-Profit Board Members - Alexandra
A practical workshop designed for loal community groups and hosted by Georgie McLean from ICL Chartered Accountants and Carole Gillions from huddl and Alexandra Community House. In this session, we'll cover:

• How to read and interpret key financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets and cash flow summaries.
• What are your responsibilities as a committee or board member when it comes to the finances, and what good oversight looks like.
• What are some questions board members should be asking management teams or the treasurer.
This workshop is for non-profit board and committee members who want to feel more confident asking the right questions so they can contribute to financial discussions at the board table and fulfil their financial governance responsibilities. Ideal for new board members, volunteer-led organisations, or anyone wanting a refresher on the financial side of governance.

huddl's popular mentoring programme is back, and now's your chance to gain the one-on-one support you need to be more confident, capable and effective in your non-profit governance role. This nine-month programme, delivered by huddl in partnership with the Mentoring Foundation of New Zealand, runs from March to November.
