Our wee fun sticks had a great day in Alex today, playing alongside St Gerard’s, Clyde, Matakanui and Maniototo… So good to see so many little ones getting amongst it, along with just as many supporters 👏🏽

☀️ What a cracking autumn day for the first round for our fun sticks teams (year 1/2) who played in Cromwell, and our 2 mini sticks teams (year 3/4) who played each other in Alex 👌🏽

Hockey season is underway! Our 3x Kiwi teams (year 5/6) had their first games tonight, with the Dragons playing the Goblins in Alex, and the Gremlins playing against Matakanui in Omakau. It was great to see everyone out there getting into it! 🏑

Kwik girls and boys (year 7/8) kick off round 1 this week too, playing in Cromwell on Tuesday/Wednesday afternoon/evenings), along with the Minis (year 3/4) and Funs (year 1/2) on Sunday!!

💥Don’t miss the chance to learn from Olympian and Black Stick, Joe Morrison💥

Organised by Central Otago Hockey Association, Joe Morrison will be leading a coaching camp next week. With 40+ international matches under his belt, Joe’s career has taken him to the World Cup, the Olympics, and the professional German Bundesliga. Joe is a familiar face in Central Otago coaching our U15 boys, and we are stoked to have his expertise back in Central Otago. This is an exciting chance for our Central Otago youth to learn from one of the best!
