Nepal Balbalika Ashram (NBA) is a non-profit social organization established in the year 2067 BS which provides home for the abandoned homeless and orphan children of Nepal. Nepal Balbalika Ashram was established with this understanding and through the initiation of a group of people who strongly believe their obligation towards society, in general, and towards thousands of children who are forced
to live in difficult circumstances. NBA’s at present, runs a office at Imadol, Lalitpur Ward no. 5. The organization has established its residential care service for children who are orphaned and without parental care. The service offers residential care, education, health and recreational facilities to the children. NBA provides a home for these abandoned and orphaned children with the aim to provide them with basic human rights such as health services, food and above all education, love and care, so that they may have a better future. At present it protects 30 children in remote area Salyan, Rukum and Rolpa. Children from age 5 years to 15 years are under NBA’s care. Care is also provided to special needs children and school going children. NBA aims to provide a good environment for children to grownup mentally, physically and academically. Volunteer
Today’s children will be tomorrow’s Parents. In the least developed countries like Nepal where thousands of children have no food to eat, cloth to wear not the education, we are trying to help at least some of them so that they can at least find the true meaning of life and get basic needs of life. These children are in unfortunate positions in life, and the impression that you leave on them will remain for the rest of their lives. This volunteer work is a great mission and provides a real, life-changing experience for you as well as to those children. Some orphanages serve as informal education training centers, and when you volunteer to become involved in those programs, you will be teaching those innocent children what it means to have someone who cares for them. All volunteers will be asked to complete the following form prior to acceptance. We also request that you provide a photocopy of your passport photo identification page in advance of your first day at the orphanage. Rs.2000 will be charged as an administrative cost once your form is accepted while you will be volunteering in Nepal Balbalika Ashram. Vision
