The CRPIN team ( Majebul Alam and Krishna Yadav), alongside Dr. Uday Yadav (Australian National University), had a productive and insightful meeting with Honourable Israil Mansuri , Minister of the Ministry of Industry, Agriculture and Cooperative and Dr. Pashupati Dhungana, Secretary of Agriculture, to discuss Multisectoral strategies for the prevention and management of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in Nepal.
The discussion highlighted the critical role of multisectoral partnerships in addressing the growing burden of NCDs by promoting healthy food systems, community centred special agricultural initiatives for disadvantaged communities, supportive environments, community engagement, and evidence-informed policies.lives

Thrilled to share that CRPIN collaborated with the Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC) for the successful of 12th National Health Research Summit.

The summit brought together many of the brightest minds in public health and medicine, creating a vibrant space for dialogue, learning, and collaboration. These conversations are crucial for strengthening partnerships and advancing efforts to translate research into policy and practice to improve population health in Nepal.

Today, CRPIN team successfully conducted the orientation program for CIMM-CHW trial , sharing the project details and implementation plan, ways of working and doing right things for broader benefit with participating stakeholders.

Glad to share that for the first time, CRPIIN facilitated an interaction between Health In-Charges of rural municipalities from Morang and Sunsari and officials from the Koshi Province Ministry of Health—creating an important platform for coordination between local implementers and provincial policymakers.

The program was held in the presence of Dr. Yadu Chandra Ghimire-Health Secretary, Dr. Uday Narayan Yadav ( The Australian National University), Policy and Planning Chief ( Dr. Savyata Panthi) , WHO representative, along with other senior ministry officials. Today the CRPIIN team(Majebul Alam and Krishna Yadav) , together with Dr. Uday Narayan Yadav from Australian National University, had a fruitful interaction with the Honourable Health Minister Man Bahadur Limbu.

The discussion focused on strengthening health policy planning, effective implementation, and rigorous evaluation to ensure better health outcomes for communities. It was an encouraging exchange of ideas on how research, policy, and practice can work together to shape a more responsive and evidence-informed health system for Koshi Province, Nepal.
