In partnership with Norwegian Church Aid Nigeria - NCA conducted a Menstrual Hygiene Management Session with women and girls, focusing on Personal Hygiene During Menstruation.

The session provided participants with practical knowledge on maintaining good hygiene, caring for themselves during menstruation, and promoting healthy menstrual practices. Through open discussions and awareness, participants were encouraged to feel confident, informed, and empowered to manage their menstrual health with dignity.

Together, we continue to promote knowledge, dignity, health, and well-being for women and girls in our communities.

Every child deserves the best start in life.

in partnership with Save the Children, Nigeria, We hosted a radio program focused on breastfeeding and its importance to mothers, babies, and families.

The program provided an opportunity to share practical information on the benefits of breastfeeding, encourage mothers and caregivers to make informed choices, and promote healthy practices that contribute to the growth and development of children.

Through community radio, we continue to take essential health information closer to the people because informed families build healthier communities.

EYN Projects, in partnership with Save the Children, Nigeria, has constructed and officially handed over an incinerator at the General Hospital, Benesheik, Kaga Local Government Area, to support safe and effective healthcare waste management.

The handover was received by the Chairman of Kaga Local Government, in the presence of the Director of Primary Health Care. The Chairman expressed his appreciation to EYN Projects and Save the Children for the intervention and reaffirmed the Local Government’s commitment to taking full ownership of the facility and ensuring its proper maintenance and sustained use.

This intervention contributes to a safer, cleaner and healthier healthcare environment for health workers, patients and the wider community.

On World Humanitarian Day 2026, we join the global humanitarian community to reaffirm a simple but powerful call: Act for Humanity.

In conflict-affected communities humanitarian action means standing with people, restoring dignity, protecting lives, and supporting communities to rebuild with hope and resilience.

Every act of compassion matters. Every voice for peace matters. Every effort to protect and empower vulnerable people matters.

Today, we celebrate humanitarian workers, community volunteers, partners, and, most importantly, the communities whose strength and resilience continue to inspire us.

Let us choose compassion. Let us choose solidarity. Let us Act for Humanity.

World Humanitarian Day 2026

𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹.

For Maria James, some of the most meaningful moments come from sitting with caregivers, listening to their stories, understanding their challenges, and helping them access the support they need to move forward.

Her experience reminds us that beyond food, healthcare, shelter, and other forms of assistance, people also need empathy, dignity, and human connection. Sometimes, being heard can make all the difference.

We celebrate humanitarian workers like Maria, who are offering not only assistance, but also hope and compassion.

Promoting healthier families through practical knowledge and community participation.

EYN Projects, in partnership with Save the Children, Nigeria, with funding from United Nations OCHA Nigeria through the Nigerian Humanitarian Fund ( ), conducted a cooking demonstration to promote nutritious, affordable, and locally available meals for families in communities.

The session provided participants with practical knowledge on food preparation, nutrition, and healthy feeding practices, helping families make informed choices that contribute to better nutrition and wellbeing.

Together, we are strengthening community resilience through knowledge, nutrition, and action.
