She spoke up. She asked for help. She tried to seek justice.

According to reports, 20-year-old Favour Agbor traveled from Warri to Asaba after responding to a mentorship offer from a popular content creator.

She later alleged that she was sexually assaulted, informed her family, sought help, and tried to pursue justice.
If survivors are told to report, speak, and trust the system, then their voices must not be ignored when they do. Favour’s story demands accountability, not silence.

Pelumi Onifade went out to do his job and never returned. His family is still waiting for truth, justice, and the chance to lay him to rest as case remains unresolved.

Justice is not a privilege for the powerful it is a right that belongs to every human being. We refuse to be silent in the face of oppression, discrimination, violence, and inequality.

Our fight for justice is rooted in courage, compassion, and the unshakable belief that every person deserves dignity, freedom, safety, and a voice that is heard.

Even when the road is long and the battles are hard, we remain steadfast, because hope is stronger than fear and solidarity is stronger than injustice.

In the past year alone, more than 10,000 Lagosians lost their homes to demolitions without notice, without resettlement, without due process.

In January 2017, Justice Adeniyi Onigbanjo declared these acts cruel, inhuman, and degrading. The ruling still matters. The demolition continues.

Human Rights Foundation Nigeria stands with every family whose roof has been torn away from Otodo-Gbame to Makoko, from Ikoyi Towers to the newest communities under the bulldozer.

We demand:
🔹 An immediate moratorium on all forced evictions
🔹 Mandatory resettlement, compensation & due process
🔹 Full implementation of the 2017 High Court ruling
