A survey reveals that individuals with disabilities experience a low rate of enrollment in tertiary education, primarily due to financial difficulties. To bridge this funding gap, the Lateefat Odunuga National Scholarship is proud to offer scholarships to students with disabilities attending Lagos State University (LASU).

As a proud alumna of LASU, I returned to my alma mater to support students with disabilities in the Department of Psychology. This initiative fulfills a promise I made to myself before graduating, and it is a deliberate effort to recognize students who are often overlooked, particularly those with disabilities, while also empowering young women in psychology to achieve their full potential.

I am immensely grateful to the university’s leadership for fostering an inclusive environment that welcomes such gestures. To our beneficiaries, I encourage you to view this scholarship as a pivotal moment, marking the beginning of a new chapter in your lives.
