6TH YOUTH PEACE AND SECURITY (YPS) CONFERENCE & AWARDS 2026

The countdown has begun to one of Nigeria’s foremost youth peacebuilding gatherings.

Arewa Peace Ambassadors Forum - APAF is pleased to invite government institutions, development partners, diplomatic missions, the United Nations family, civil society organizations, the private sector, academic institutions, traditional and religious leaders, media organizations, youth networks, student associations, peace ambassadors, entrepreneurs, and the general public to participate in the 6th Youth Peace & Security (YPS) Conference & Awards 2026.

Held in commemoration of the International Day of Peace 2026, the conference advances the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2250 on Youth, Peace and Security, under the global theme, “Invest in Peace: For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day,” while focusing on empowering youth through skills, entrepreneurship, and innovation for sustainable peace and inclusive development.

Happy World Environment Day

WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2026

Nigeria’s future depends on the choices we make today.

From desertification in the North to flooding in many communities across the country, the effects of climate change are becoming increasingly visible. Protecting our environment is no longer an option it is a responsibility we all share.

On this World Environment Day, APAF Peace For All calls on Nigerians, especially young people, to take action by planting trees, reducing waste, protecting our natural resources, and promoting sustainable practices in our homes and communities.

That is why APAF Creative Peace Lab was established to empower young people to use storytelling, spoken word, poetry, media, leadership, entrepreneurship, technology, and creativity as tools for peace and social impact.
