SCUML-NIESV LAGOS STATE BRANCH STRATEGIC SESSION

The Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (Lagos State Branch) in collaboration with Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering (SCUML) of the Economic & Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is hosting a strategic session focused on anti-money laundering, countering terrorism financing, and proliferation financing within the real estate sector.

The purpose and focus of this strategic session is to train our members on the importance of compliance and reporting of suspicious transactions to SCUML.

Please note that this is a FREE event.

LIFE INSURANCE POLICY PAYMENT

Good Day Dear Esteemed Members,

On Tuesday, September 15th, 2026, The Branch Chairman, ESV Tosin Kadiri FNIVS and Executive Committee met with the widow of our dear departed member, former Honorary Secretary of The Branch & Council Member ESV Niyi Olagoke FNIVS, who passed away March 21st, 2026.

During the meeting, a death benefit cheque was presented by the Branch to his wife as part of the Group Life Insurance benefits due to our departed colleague as financial benefits.

While no financial support can replace the loss of a loved one, we hope this gesture will help address some immediate and medium-term needs of the family left behind.

May the soul of our dearly departed colleague continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord.

APPRECIATION: ANNUAL HEALTH WALK

Good Day, Dear Esteemed Noble Colleagues.

The Executive Committee and the Welfare Sub-Committee of The Very Branch sincerely appreciate all our members who made out time to participate in the Annual Health Walk held on Saturday, September 12th, 2026.

With the theme, “WALK FOR HEALTH, WALK FOR YOUR DREAMS,” members took part in the walk through Victoria Island, commencing from Ajose Adeogun Street, Adetokunbo Ademola Street to the Eko Atlantic City Gate and back, via Akin Adesola Street and Adeola Hopewell Street.

Your presence, enthusiasm and commitment contributed greatly to the success of the event.

Thank you for walking with us, staying healthy and keeping the spirit of our great Branch alive.
