The Charity Centre in Tamarin needs you !
For those who don't know us, here's a quick summary of what we do:
Help and raise money for those in need; kids, adults, animals and the environment
Raise awareness on the importance of using second hand items and reduce waste around the island.
We are actively looking for volunteers to help out in the running of the shop which is open on Tuesdays,Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am to 2pm and every first Saturday of the month from 9am to 1pm.
What we need :
• Strength : what we do involves a lot of physical work including lifting boxes and clothes racks. We are always on the go, busy putting up articles on displays, helping and assisting the customers, etc…
• Commitment and consistency : for the good running of the shop and for the causes we’re fighting for, we have to put our heart in what we’re doing, being willing to give our best selves to understand how the shop is ran and what has to be done for it to run effectively.
We ask for a minimum commitment of either half or full day once a week.
There’s 3 shifts ;
1. 8am - 3pm
2. 8am – noon
3. 11am – 3pm
