We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable IT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional system administration and user support and execute technical setups and implementations for our customers. This role demands a proactive approach to maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring system efficiency, and promptly resolving technical issues.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including but not limited to servers, networks, workstations, and peripherals.
• Provide technical support to users, addressing and resolving issues related to software, hardware, and network problems promptly and efficiently.
• Perform system administration tasks, such as creating user accounts, managing permissions, and ensuring data security.
• Conduct regular system diagnostics and maintenance checks to identify and mitigate potential issues before they escalate.
• Participate in the planning and implementing IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new installations.
• Collaborate with the IT team to develop and update documentation for system configuration, network mapping, and support procedures.
• Train users on new technologies and provide guidance on IT best practices.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement in our IT operations.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, and operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, MacOS).
• Familiarity with system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide technical support in userfriendly language.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
Skills:
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Expertise in deploying, configuring, and managing IT infrastructure solutions, including familiarity with tools like ManageEngine and RoomAlert, is highly regarded.
• Detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
