A Visit of Recognition, Gratitude, and Rotary Spirit
On Wednesday 10th, the Rotary Club of Quatre Bornes had the honour of welcoming our District Governor Bernard, Lady Cécile, and District Officer Ming for a memorable club visit.
An evening filled with fellowship, appreciation, and meaningful conversations as our DG Bernard and DO Ming seized the opportunity to extend their gratitude to the RCQB team for their outstanding contribution during the Conférence & Assemblée D9220 - 2026.
With 12 members representing our club at the conference, RCQB proudly contributed not only through attendance but also through leadership and service.
A special recognition was given to:
AG Anju, who chaired the Sergeant-at-Arms team, ensuring smooth coordination and an exceptional experience throughout the conference.
President Deeraj, who took charge of Telecommunications, making sure attendees stayed connected by successfully providing free Wi-Fi access during the event.
Beyond celebrating the memories of the District Conference, this special evening was also an opportunity for DG Bernard and President Deeraj to recognise three important pillars who contributed significantly to the success of the Rotary Year 2025-2026 at the Rotary Club of Quatre Bornes.
Avenues of Service Certificates were proudly presented to:
Rotarian Urvashee
For her excellence in leading one of the biggest projects of the year, the renovation of the wet unit at Robert Barth Pre-Primary School. A project that goes beyond infrastructure. A project that will improve the daily experience, comfort, and environment of generations of children for the next 20 years.
AG Anju
For her dedication to membership growth and strengthening the future of the club. Through her efforts, RCQB grew from 19 to 25 members, welcoming new skills, new ideas, and new energy that will continue taking the club forward and upward.
PP Dev
For his remarkable leadership as Director of Projects. With dedication and commitment, he successfully guided 12 projects from vision to reality, ensuring that ideas became meaningful actions within our community.
An evening filled with emotions, gratitude, and pride as we celebrated a hardworking team, remembered an unforgettable District Conference, and honoured the people who helped shape this Rotary year.
Because behind every successful Rotary year, there are Rotarians who choose to serve, lead, and make a difference.
