We are a membership-based nonprofit organization of 200,000 young people ages 18 to 40 in 5,000 communities and more than 100 countries around the world. Each JCI Member shares the belief that in order to create lasting positive change, we must improve ourselves

and the world around us. We seek targeted solutions to the unique problems in our communities to build a better world, creating global impact. JCI Mission

As the curtains close on the 2026 JCI Africa & the Middle East Conference in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, we reflect on days filled with learning, connections, cultural exchange, and unforgettable memories🇨🇮✨

The Closing Ceremony marked not just the end of an incredible conference, but a celebration of the impact young leaders continue to create across Africa and the Middle East. From inspiring sessions to meaningful collaborations, 2026 JCI AMEC has once again reminded us of the power of unity, leadership, and active citizenship🌍🤝

Nations Night at the 2026 JCI Africa & the Middle East Conference was a true celebration of diversity, unity, and global friendship. From traditional attire and cultural showcases to music, food, and unforgettable exchanges; the evening beautifully reflected the spirit of JCI: different nations, one shared mission🤝🌎

JCI Mauritius was proud to showcase the vibrant spirit of our island nation; sharing our culture, connecting with fellow delegates, and celebrating the diversity that makes our global network so special. Moments like these remind us of the power of cultural exchange and international friendship🇲🇺

And of course, highlights of the night? JCI World President Alejandra Castillo , JCI AME Executive Vice President Abdullahi Bala Attairu, and JCI AME Vice Presidents proudly screaming “Mauritius” during the Nations Night! Another productive day at the 2026 JCI Africa and the Middle East Conference🌍

General Assembly 2 brought delegates together for important discussions, updates and decisions shaping the future of JCI across Africa and the Middle East.

Following the assembly, JCI Mauritius Delegates attended the JCI President Session engaging in insightful conversations on leadership, priorities and the future direction of our organisation.

Our National President, Siksha, was also honoured to attend the Tunisian Luncheon, strengthening ties and building meaningful connections with fellow leaders from across the region🇹🇳🇲🇺

The day concluded with NP Siksha presenting tokens of appreciation to JCI President Alejandra Castillo and JCI AME EVP Abdullahi Bala Attairu as a gesture of gratitude for their leadership, support and continued collaboration✨
