I turned my home into a shelter, mostly for cats, occasionally for some dogs. There are always between 20 and 30 cats in my home. All rescued from the difficult street life, many of them with severe injuries or severe health conditions. My goals are the following:

- Rescuing cats in trouble (and there are too many of them on our streets, unfortunately)
- Their treatment, socialization, vaccina

- Their rehoming, mostly abroad, in England, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium , Italy
- Neutering/spay as many stray cats as possible. This campaign of mine has been going on for 7-8 years. In the years 2020 and 2021 alone about 1000 cats were neutered. There are too many stray kittens and unwanted kittens that suffer from the harsh street life.
- Education and raising awareness on how to treat animals. In our country the consciousness is too, too low

In the meantime, I work full time. I am alone in all this. Finding volunteers to help with the day-to-day care of cats is science fiction. No, there are no such people. I do not drive and I do not have a car. But I am lucky to have two friends and a brother who are always in the mood to drive me to the vets. And I go to the vets very often. I live in a house of 80 square meters, consisting of 3 rooms, and cats are everywhere. My home is not like many other people's homes, but it is full of love! For everything I do I need financial help, I need constant donations. My small salary can cover almost nothing. I am infinitely grateful for every donation, whatever amount it is. I am grateful that there are people in the world who understand what I am doing and are happy to help me. Donations can be sent to:

Well, when you neuter stray cats and you give them few days to recover, sometimes accident happens. This one, heavily pregnant before neutered, went pretty well after surgery. But, two days after, she showed signs that she will be well out of the cage. And this happened.
Massacre. On both hands. Blood everywhere. My blood, thanks god. Not hers.
Her wound is perfectly ok and she will be released at her spot tomorrow.
I am safe, although massacred. I will take care of my wounds, no worries.
This is just to show you what neuterings means. Not to make dramas, not to brag. Just for you to see what are we doing right here.

I have a sort of spasm in my heart and my mouth. For a few days. I could not vocalize or write. First, our dear, dear Karin and. In a couple of days, Rosie. There are no coincidences, I think.
Rosie was about 18-20 years old. She was blind and coping with the world just perfectly.
In the last few months she shaw signs of her age. Eating great as usual, but getting skinnier and skinnier... Knowing what comes along, we both got an agreement: she will tell me when the time is and I will follow her signs.
And the time had come. One day, Rosie stopped eating. The other day, she went with the strangest meowing I have heard. I told her: Rosie, I got you. It's the time.
And we got to the vet and we said the most loving goodbye.
I wish someone do this for me when my time is up.
Thank you Karin (rest in peace) for sponsoring Rosie to her end. And to your end, oh god, I can not stop my tears...
I love you both endlessly!

Folks, these two girls are now at my home. Strays, neutered and will be released in few days back on the streets.. As all others, they will be be fed well.
But the season of fleas and ticks is coming soon. Actually, in couple of weeks or so. I would not want to release them infested, full with fleas. Could you help, please? One flea spot on costs about 6 euro. Untill October i would need about 240 flea spots on....
Could you please help???

The cost of enucleation (extraction of the eye and stitches) I only 30 euro. Could you please help this girl?

Happy New Year everyone!
I am late to post about the neuterings for December, since I was in bed, being ill. I am still coughing as hell, but am in function. Going to work, cleaning, all well.
