🌍 12 August – International Youth Day
A celebration. A reminder. A call to action.

Today, the world pauses to recognize the power, resilience, and brilliance of young people everywhere.
From Bitola to Bamako, from small villages to global stages — youth are speaking up, stepping out, and standing strong.

🗣️ We are not too young to lead. We are not too inexperienced to decide.
We are students, artists, volunteers, entrepreneurs, activists, dreamers — and we are already shaping the world around us.

Every time a young person raises their voice for climate justice.
Every time a teenager stands up against bullying.
Every time a youth-led group creates change in their community…
That is leadership. That is courage. That is power.

Yet still, too often, youth are silenced.
Our ideas overlooked.
Our seats at the table — missing.

So today, and every day, we say:
ENOUGH.

We will not be passive passengers in a world that needs change.
We will be the force behind it.
We will demand a seat at every table where our futures are decided.

🌟 To every young person reading this:
➡️ Be loud. Be unapologetic. Be proud.
➡️ Your voice matters. Your ideas are valid.
➡️ You don’t have to wait for “someday” — the world needs you now.

✨ And to decision-makers, educators, parents, and institutions:
Listen to us.
Trust us.
Work with us.

Because when young people are included, communities thrive.
When youth are empowered, systems evolve.

🌍🇵🇱 A first time in Poland, a lifetime of memories!

Angel had the opportunity to take part in an Erasmus+ project in Wieleń, Poland, and it was an experience that went beyond expectations! ✨

Through workshops, cultural activities, and international teamwork, Angel gained new skills, discovered different perspectives, and met amazing people from across Europe. 🤝

One of the biggest highlights was the cultural exchange — learning about different traditions, ways of life, and perspectives while creating friendships that can last far beyond the project. ❤️

From exploring Wieleń and experiencing Polish culture for the first time to learning, laughing, and growing together, this Erasmus+ experience was truly unforgettable.

Last November, three representatives of Youth For Change had the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ Training Course "Feel It to Heal It", held in Šibenik, Croatia and hosted by Udruga mladih "Mladi u EU".

Throughout the mobility, our participants explored the importance of emotional intelligence and socio-relational skills in youth work. Through interactive workshops and non-formal education methods, they strengthened their abilities in emotion identification, emotional competence, social-emotional skills, problem-solving, decision-making, and promoting psychological well-being.

The training also brought together youth workers from Croatia, Georgia, France, Italy, and North Macedonia, creating a valuable space for exchanging experiences, sharing good practices, and building new international partnerships. Beyond the educational activities, participants experienced intercultural learning, discovered the beautiful city of Šibenik, and developed friendships that will continue beyond the project.

We are grateful to our hosting partner Udruga mladih "Mladi u EU" for organizing such a meaningful learning experience and to the Erasmus+ Programme for making these opportunities possible.

Every international mobility reminds us that investing in emotional well-being is just as important as developing professional skills. By empowering youth workers, we create stronger support systems for young people and more resilient communities.

🌍🇵🇱 Building Bridges in Poland!

Five participants from Youth for Change recently took part in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Building Bridges: Inclusion, Diversity and European Values” in Wieleń, Poland.

Throughout the week, they worked alongside young people from different European countries, exploring topics such as social inclusion, diversity, equal opportunities, human rights, democracy, and European values. Through interactive workshops, simulations, debates, intercultural activities, and teamwork, participants challenged stereotypes, strengthened their communication skills, and developed a deeper understanding of the importance of solidarity and active citizenship.

The exchange also focused on environmental responsibility, self-confidence, non-formal learning, and youth participation in democratic processes. By sharing experiences and perspectives with peers from different cultural backgrounds, participants built meaningful connections and gained valuable skills that they can now bring back to their local communities.
