【現地報告　第6日目】

５月４日（月）最終日

朝7時出発という早い時間にも関わらず、ピースビルディングの皆様が見送りに出てきてくれました。
今日が最終日、お別れです。
もっとお話がしたかったし、慣れてうち解けてきたころに、お別れするのは、寂しい気持ちもありましたが、またの再会を約束して、私たちは車に乗り、ピースビルディングをあとにしました。

仁川国際空港で、運転をして下さったソンさん、ジェイさんと一緒に朝ご飯を食べてお別れしました。

お二人には最後の最後までお世話になりました。

出国手続きは、思ったより混雑もなく終えることができました。広島空港に無事到着し、迎えに来られた家族の皆様をみた時、今回の韓国PAXが終わったと実感しました。

全ての日程が充実して、関わった全ての方が思い出されます。
今回この８人で韓国PAXに行けて良かったです。ありがとうございました。

May 4 (Final Day)

Even though we departed early at 7:00 a.m., everyone from the Peace Building came out to see us off.

It was time to say goodbye. Just as we had finally begun to feel truly close and comfortable with one another, it was already time to part. We wished we could have talked more, but promising to meet again someday, we left the Peace Building with grateful hearts.

At Incheon International Airport, we shared one last breakfast with Son-san and Jae-san, who had driven and supported us until the very end.

The departure procedures went more smoothly than expected, and we safely arrived back at Hiroshima Airport. Seeing our families waiting for us there, I finally realized that Korea PAX 2026 had come to an end.

Every day of the journey was meaningful, and I find myself remembering everyone who was part of it. I’m truly grateful that the eight of us were able to experience this Korea PAX together.

韓国PAX（平和使節交換）2026
【現地報告 第5日目 P.B.編】
- 日曜日は、平和ビル1Fの多目的ホールが、どなたでも歓迎される、教会の礼拝の場になります。-

5月3日礼拝に参加して

ピース・ビルディングの礼拝は、そこに住む人だけだと思っていましたが、他の人も子どもを連れて来られました。

礼拝の参加は、大人より子どもが多いとのことです。子どもは、初め皆と一緒でしたが、それぞれ証しを言うと退席して、あとは大人だけの礼拝になりました。

子どももしっかり、信仰を持っている事には感動しました。
牧師はいなくて、メッセージを持ち回りでお話しているとのことです。皆さん熱心で目を輝かせて居眠りをする人などいません。

礼拝が終わった後、一緒に料理をつくってお昼を食べました。その後は研修があるとの事で、他の部屋に行かれました。
日曜日は一日中神との交わりのようでした。

私は「まず神の国と神の義を求めよ、そうすれば全てのものが与えられる」というみ言葉が座右の銘ですが、礼拝に来られた方々の信仰には頭が下がりました。
礼拝に参列して、さらに教えられました。感謝でした。

Korea PAX2026 Day 5

The May 3 Sunday service at the Peace Building:

I had assumed that the Peace Building worship service was only for the residents there, but other families also came with their children.

I was told that more children than adults usually attend the service. At first, the children stayed together with everyone, but after each shared a short testimony, they quietly left the room, and the rest of the service continued with the adults.

I was deeply moved to see how sincerely the children held their faith.

There was no pastor; instead, members took turns sharing the message. Everyone listened with shining eyes and deep attentiveness — no one appeared distracted or sleepy.

After the service, we cooked together and shared lunch. Later, everyone moved to another room for further study and fellowship. It felt as though the entire Sunday was devoted to communion with God.

One of my guiding Bible verses is:
“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

I was truly humbled by the faith of those who attended the service. Participating in the worship taught me even more, and I left feeling deeply grateful.

韓国PAX（平和使節交換）2026
【現地報告 第5日目　滞在中、初めて雨天 （蚕室散策編）】

韓国で過ごす最後の一日。

これまでの数日とは少し違い、肩の力がふっと抜けるような時間でした。

この日はフリータイム。Jaeさんご家族やHanaさん(NARPI)、私たち13人でロッテワールド・モールへ。初めてバスに乗り、見慣れない街並みを眺めながら向かいました。

ロッテワールド・タワーを見上げると、その高さに思わず息をのみます。霞がかかるほどの大きさに、韓国のスケールを感じました。モールではオリーブヤングや雑貨屋、本屋さんを巡り、買い物を満喫。頼まれていた商品が見つからなかったのは少し残念でしたが、それも旅の思い出です。

途中で立ち寄ったカフェでは、真っ黒なクリームのかき氷や色鮮やかなドリンクに驚かされました。見た目も味も新鮮で、「韓国らしさ」を楽しむ時間でした。

お昼のチーズダッカルビは、大きな鉄板いっぱいに広がり、その豪快さにびっくり。最後のチャーハンまで美味しくいただきました。

夜にはホストファミリーの食卓を囲み、温かい家庭料理も味わいました。食事を共にすることで、少しずつ距離が近づいていくのを感じます。

そして夜は、Jaeさんの家に集まり旅の振り返り。
一人ひとりが感じたことを語り合いました。同じ場所にいても、心に残るものは少しずつ違う。その違いを聞きながら、この旅は「同じ答えを見つける旅ではなかった」のだと思いました。

あっという間の５日間。 言葉になったものも、まだ言葉にならないものも、大切に持ち帰りたいと思います。

May 3, 2026
- It rained almost all day for the first time during our stay. -

Our last day in Korea felt different from the previous days — lighter, calmer, and filled with quiet reflection.

We spent the day freely exploring together with Jae-san’s family, Hana-san, and all 13 of us at the Lotte World Mall. Riding a local bus for the first time and looking out at the unfamiliar city scenery already felt like part of the adventure. Looking up at the towering Lotte World Tower, disappearing into the haze above, we were struck by the incredible scale of Korea.

We enjoyed visiting Olive Young, bookstores, and small shops, tasting colorful drinks and even black cream shaved ice at a café — such fun “Korea-like” moments. Lunch was delicious cheese dakgalbi cooked on a huge hot plate, ending perfectly with fried rice.

In the evening, we gathered around our host families’ dinner tables, sharing warm homemade meals and feeling the distance between us slowly disappear.

That night, we came together again at Jae-san’s home to reflect on the journey. Even though we shared the same experiences, each person carried different feelings and memories. Listening to one another, I realized this trip was never about finding one single answer.

These five days passed so quickly. Some memories have already become words, while others still remain beyond them — but all of them are precious, and we will carry them home with us.
