ضمن الجهود المبذولة من قبل منظمة طفل الحرب (War Child) لرفع الوعي وتعزيز حماية الطفل، نفذت المنظمة عرضاً مسرحياً تفاعلياً في مخيم الأزرق بالتعاون مع مسرح زعل وخضرة.

حضر العرض ما يقارب 400 شخص من أبناء وبنات المجتمع المحلي من اللاجئين السوريين في المخيم، حيث ركزت الفعالية على محاور جوهرية تتعلق بالرعاية الوالدية وأهمية تقديم الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي للأطفال. كما سلطت المسرحية الضوء على دور الأهل الأساسي في بناء بيئة أسرية آمنة ومستقرة تساهم في النمو السليم للطفل وتجاوز التحديات المحيطة.

تأتي هذه المبادرة في إطار سعي المنظمة لبناء مجتمعات مرنة ومتمكنة، واستخدام الفن التفاعلي كأداة فاعلة للتغيير المجتمعي ونشر الوعي.

As part of War Child’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness and strengthen child protection, the organization held an interactive theatrical performance at the Azraq Refugee Camp, in collaboration with the Zaal and Khadra Theater troupe.

The event was attended by approximately 400 members of the local Syrian refugee community. The performance focused on core themes of parental care and the vital importance of providing psychosocial support to children. Furthermore, the play highlighted the fundamental role parents play in fostering a safe and stable family environment, which is essential for a child’s healthy development and their ability to overcome surrounding challenges.

This initiative is part of the organization’s mission to build resilient and empowered communities, utilizing interactive art as an effective tool for social change and awareness.

وقّعت منظمة طفل الحرب في الأردن اتفاقية تعاون مع مركز زها الثقافي لتنفيذ مشروع نوعي يهدف إلى تعزيز الرفاه النفسي ودعم مقدمي الرعاية، من خلال برامج مستدامة قائمة على الأدلة.

يشمل المشروع تدريب كوادر المركز وتنفيذ جلسات دعم لـ 300 عائلة، إلى جانب حملات توعوية تستهدف 2000 مستفيد، بما يسهم في بناء بيئة آمنة وداعمة للأطفال وتعزيز التماسك المجتمعي.

معاً نحو أسر أقوى... وأطفال أكثر أماناً

War Child Jordan has signed a cooperation agreement with the Zaha Cultural Center to implement a specialized project aimed at enhancing psychosocial wellbeing and supporting caregivers through sustainable, evidence-based programs.

The project includes training the center’s staff and conducting support sessions for 300 families, alongside awareness campaigns targeting 2,000 beneficiaries.

These efforts contribute to building a safe and supportive environment for children while strengthening social cohesion.

Together toward stronger families... and safer children.

أتوق إلى التعلّم | Can't Wait to Learn

عندما يصبح التعلّم مساحة للاكتشاف، تتغيّر علاقة الأطفال بالتعلّم.

سلمى، 7 سنوات، واحدة من الأطفال الذين شاركوا في مبادرة أتوق إلى التعلّم من خلال أنشطة المشروع المنفّذة عبر جمعية العون في الأزرق، حيث خاضت تجربة تعليمية مختلفة قائمة على التعلّم من خلال استخدام أدوات تعليمية تفاعلية.

من خلال هذه التجربة، وجدت سلمى في التعلّم متعةً حقيقية، ساعدتها على زيادة تركيزها، وتنمية روح التعاون، وتعزيز مهاراتها في القراءة والحساب ضمن بيئة مشجّعة ومبتكرة.

هذا الأثر لم يقتصر على سلمى فقط، بل لمسَته عائلتها أيضًا.
تقول والدتها:“التعليم هو السلاح الوحيد الذي يحمي مستقبل أطفالنا، وأملي أن أرى ابنتي إنسانة متعلّمة، واثقة من نفسها، وقادرة على بناء مستقبلها بكرامة.”

يُنفّذ مشروع أتوق إلى التعلّم حاليًا بالشراكة مع وزارة التربية والتعليم من خلال مركز الملكة رانيا العبدالله لتكنولوجيا التعليم والمعلومات في 28 مدرسة في مختلف محافظات المملكة.

كما يُنفّذ المشروع بالشراكة مع جمعية الكرام في المفرق وجمعية العون في الأزرق، بما يشمل التنفيذ في الخيم العشوائية في منطقة الأزرق، إيمانًا بحق كل طفل في التعلّم والوصول إليه أينما كان.


When learning becomes a space for discovery, children's relationship with learning changes.

Salma, 7 years old, is one of the children who participated in the "Can’t wait to Learn" initiative through the project activities implemented by the Aid Association in Azraq, where she had a different educational experience based on learning through the use of interactive educational tools.

Through this experience, Salma found learning a real pleasure, which helped her increase her concentration, develop a spirit of cooperation, and enhance her reading and arithmetic skills within an encouraging and innovative environment.

This trace was not limited to Salma only but was also touched by her family. Her mother says:
“Education is the only weapon that protects our children's future, and my hope is to see my daughter as an educated, self-confident person, capable of building her future with dignity.”

Can’t Wait to Learn project is currently being implemented in Azraq and in partnership with the Ministry of Education through the Queen Rania Al Abdullah Center for Educational and Information Technology in 28 schools in various governorates of the Kingdom.

The project is also being implemented in partnership with the Al-Kiram Association in Mafraq and the Al-Oun Association in Azraq, including implementation in informal tents in the Azraq area, out of belief in the right of every child to learn and reach it wherever he is.

ضمن جهودنا المستمرة لتعزيز الرفاه النفسي ودعم العائلات، نظّمت منظمة طفل الحرب فعالية مميزة في مسرح بلدية المفرق، بالتعاون مع جمعية قدرات للتنمية المجتمعية وشبكة نايا المجتمعية، حيث شهدنا العرض المسرحي“دوبامين” من تقديم مسرح زعل وخضرة ضمن تجربة تفاعلية هادفة.

يأتي هذا النشاط ضمن برامج الرعاية الوالدية وتعزيز الرفاه النفسي للعائلات المستفيدة، حيث تم توقيع اتفاقية تعاون بين منظمة طفل الحرب و جمعية قدرات في محافظة المفرق، لتنفيذ هذه البرامج ودعم الأثر الإيجابي في المجتمع، وكان العرض المسرحي انعكاسًا لأسلوب إبداعي مؤثر.

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance mental well-being and support families, War Child organized a event at the Mafraq Municipality Theater, in collaboration with Qudrat Association for Community Development and the Naya Community Network. The event featured the theatrical performance “Dopamine” presented by Zaal and Khadra Theatre in an engaging and interactive experience.

This activity comes within the parenting programs and the enhancement of the mental well-being of the beneficiary families, where a cooperation agreement was signed between War Child and Qudrat Association in Mafraq Governorate to implement these programs and support positive impact in the community. The theatrical performance reflected a creative and impactful approach.

وقّعت منظمة طفل الحرب الهولندية في الأردن اتفاقية تعاون مع جمعية قدرات في محافظة المفرق، لتنفيذ برامج الرعاية الوالدية وتعزيز الرفاه النفسي للعائلات المستفيدة.
ويأتي هذا التعاون في إطار بناء قدرات الشركاء المحليين وتمكينهم، بما يضمن استدامة البرامج التي تُعنى بحماية الأسرة والحفاظ على التماسك المجتمعي، من خلال تنفيذ تدخلات متخصصة في الرعاية الوالدية والدعم النفسي.
كما يندرج ذلك ضمن استراتيجية المنظمة للتحول الكامل نحو تنفيذ برامجها عبر الشركاء المحليين، بما يعزز دورهم ويُمكّنهم من قيادة وتنفيذ البرامج بكفاءة، ويضمن استدامتها مع المجتمعات المحلية على المدى الطويل.
وتستهدف الاتفاقية دعم أكثر من 250 عائلة في محافظة المفرق، عبر برامج تسهم في تحسين البيئة الأسرية، وتعزيز الصحة النفسية، وبناء قدرات الأهالي في التعامل الإيجابي مع الأطفال.

War Child in Jordan has signed a partnership agreement with Qudrat Association in Mafraq Governorate to implement caregiver support programmes and mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) interventions for families.

This collaboration comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen and empower local partners, ensuring the sustainability of programmes focused on family protection and social cohesion through the delivery of specialized caregiver support programs and psychosocial interventions.

The partnership also aligns with War Child’s strategic shift towards fully implementing programmes through local partners, enhancing their role and enabling them to lead and deliver interventions effectively, while ensuring long-term sustainability within communities.

The agreement aims to support more than 250 families in Mafraq Governorate through programmes that contribute to improving the home environment, strengthening mental wellbeing, and building caregivers’ capacities to engage positively with children.

دعم الصحة النفسية لمقدّمي الرعاية يساهم في خلق بيئات أكثر أمانًا واحتواءً، حيث يمكن للأطفال أن ينموا ويزدهروا.

“I’ve become very calm — much calmer. I’m more patient with my children. Even they noticed the change.”

This is how caregivers described their experience after completing "BeThere".

Many shared a clear shift — from reacting with stress and anger to responding with more calm, understanding, and confidence.

Supporting caregivers’ mental well-being helps create safer, more nurturing environments where children can grow and thrive.
