ضمن فعاليات مهرجان جرش، شاركت سفيرة القراءة جميلة أبو ملحم من خلال عقد جلسات قراءة يومية للأطفال داخل المهرجان، في أجواء تفاعلية هدفت إلى تشجيع الأطفال على القراءة، وتحويل القصة إلى مساحة ممتعة للتعلّم والتعبير والخيال.
وقد جاءت هذه المشاركة ضمن جهود تنظيمية وتسهيلات ساهمت في إتاحة المجال لعقد مثل هذه الأنشطة الثقافية والتربوية داخل المهرجان، بما يعزز حضور القراءة كجزء من الفعاليات المجتمعية الموجهة للأطفال والعائلات.
وتُعدّ السفيرة جميلة أبو ملحم من الناشطات في مجال القراءة والعمل المجتمعي في محافظة جرش، وهي عضو في تمكين المرأة في محافظة جرش، وتحرص على عقد جلسات قراءة دورية للأطفال في المحافظة، بدعم من بلدية جرش ومديرية الثقافة ومديرية التربية، إيمانًا منها بأهمية القراءة في بناء شخصية الطفل وتنمية وعيه وخياله.
كل الشكر للسفيرة جميلة أبو ملحم على جهودها المستمرة في نشر ثقافة القراءة، وإيصال أثر القصص إلى الأطفال في مختلف المساحات الثقافية والمجتمعية.
As part of the activities of Jerash Festival, Reading Ambassador Jamila Abu Melhem participated by holding daily reading sessions for children during the festival, creating an interactive and engaging space that encouraged children to enjoy reading, express themselves, and explore stories through imagination.
This participation was supported by coordination and facilitation efforts that helped make such cultural and educational activities possible within the festival, strengthening the presence of reading as part of community events dedicated to children and families.
Reading Ambassador Jamila Abu Melhem is an active community member in Jerash Governorate and a member of Women’s Empowerment in Jerash. She regularly conducts reading sessions for children across the governorate, with the support of Jerash Municipality, the Directorate of Culture, and the Directorate of Education.
Through her continued efforts, Jamila Abu Melhem reflects the important role of We Love Reading Ambassadors in spreading a love of reading and bringing the impact of stories closer to children in cultural and community spaces.
