Seprod Foundation has been providing scholarships for over 30 years and more recently begun to play a role in bringing innovative learning experiences to children in Jamaica. Major projects include National Youth Orchestra, Jamaican Girls Coding, DebateMate, Toy Inventors Workshop, Hour of Code Coding Gallery and Professional Development opportunities for Teachers. We believe that these investments in the human capital of Jamaica will not only inspire more careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics but also equip our country for a more rewarding future.

A look back at a day well spent. 🌊♻️

There was plenty to collect, sort and carry, with every bag bringing us closer to cleaner shores. From the first collection to the final weigh-in, our Earth Heroes made every effort count at Gun Boat and Buccaneer Beaches on International Coastal Cleanup Day 2026.

Across Gun Boat and Buccaneer Beaches, 8,635.6 lbs of waste was removed from our environment, including 989.2 lbs of plastic.

More than a cleanup, these numbers are a reminder of just how much waste can accumulate where it doesn’t belong and why what we do after the cleanup matters just as much.

Over 19,000lbs of waste removed! One powerful reminder: there is no true “away.” 🌊💚 This International Coastal Cleanup Day, Seprod Group volunteers joined the GraceKennedy Foundation’s Kingston Harbour Cleanup Project, helping to clear waste from Gun Boat Beach and Buccaneer Beach.

Under this year’s theme, “Sea the Change: Away is a Place,” we’re reminded that protecting Jamaica’s coastlines starts with the choices we make every day. 🇯🇲 A big thank you to our volunteers for showing up and putting environmental responsibility into action!
