⚽️❤️ FERNCOURT IS THROUGH TO THE SECOND ROUND! ❤️⚽️
Congratulations to our 2026 DaCosta Cup Team on qualifying for the Inter-Zone Round for the second consecutive year under the restructured Ferncourt Football Programme! 👏🏽🔥
Our boys finished the first round with 5 wins from 6 matches, showing tremendous potential despite challenging training conditions and limited resources.
But this programme is about more than football. STUDENTS FIRST. 📚⚽️ We remain focused on academic achievement, discipline, personal development and preparing our young men for life beyond Ferncourt.
🙏🏽 THANK YOU to our School Administration & Board, coaches, teachers, parents, students, supporters, donors and especially our past students at home and across the diaspora. Your support is helping to make this progress possible.

❤️ PAST STUDENTS, WE NEED YOU.
As the team advances, we need continued support towards:
⚽️ Resurfacing our playfield
🏋🏽 Gym facilities
👟 Football gear & equipment
🤝🏽 Financial support for our student-athletes
Our boys are doing their part. Let’s continue to do ours. Every contribution helps us build a stronger, sustainable football programme and better opportunities for our young men.
Onward, Ferncourt! 🦅❤️

PAST STUDENTS GIVING BACK | STUDENTS FIRST

The Ferncourt High School Alumni Association and wider community extends heartfelt thanks to our Ferncourt Past Students 1984–1989 for their generous donation of J$165,000 towards assisting our student-athletes with the cost of their 2026 CSEC examinations. 🙏🏽📚⚽

The donation was presented by Brigadier Markland Lloyd and Mr. Othneil Lawrence, CEO of Runaway Communication Centre and a consistent sponsor of our annual Ferncourt Football Fiesta, on behalf of the group.

This is what alumni support looks like—investing not only in our students’ development on the field, but also in their success in the classroom.

Through our Sports Development Programme, we remain committed to the school’s guiding principle: STUDENTS FIRST.

Many thanks and blessings to the Ferncourt Past Students 1984–1989 for continuing to give back and invest in the next generation of Ferncourt students. 🙏🏽

The Ferncourt High School Alumni Association extends heartfelt appreciation to Tyrone “Hulk” Ellis, Class of ’95, for his latest donation of 21 pairs of sneakers to support our school’s sports programme. 👏🏽

Tyrone’s support is not a one-off. Over the years, he has consistently given back to Ferncourt through multiple donations and has remained a regular patron of our annual Ferncourt Football Fiesta.

It is this kind of sustained commitment that makes a real difference in the lives of our students and strengthens the programmes that help them thrive.

Thank you, Tyrone, for continuing to show up for your alma mater. Your consistency, generosity and Ferncourt pride are deeply appreciated. 🙏🏽

A Heartfelt Thank You to the FHSAASF Chapter ❤️💙

On behalf of the Ferncourt High School Alumni Association and the wider Ferncourt family, we extend our deepest gratitude to the Ferncourt High School Alumni Association South Florida (FHSAASF) Chapter for the tremendous success of its 3rd Annual Back-to-School Health Fair, held at our beloved Ferncourt High School.

Special commendations to the Planning Committee, ably led by Retired Nurse Jackie Wilson-Thomas, and the entire FHSAASF Executive for their incredible planning, sacrifice, generosity and commitment to serving our students and community.

We are especially grateful to the doctors and nurses who travelled from Illinois, Georgia and Florida to volunteer their time, expertise and resources. Your willingness to travel such distances in service to others is a true testament to the spirit of giving.

We also extend sincere appreciation to the student nurses, members of the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW), and members of the Ferncourt High School Alumni Association who volunteered and worked alongside the team to make the initiative a success.

Through this tremendous collaborative effort, over 300 students — including students from other schools — as well as members of the surrounding communities were assisted. This is the true meaning of service, partnership and giving back.

To everyone who planned, travelled, donated, volunteered, provided healthcare services or contributed in any way — THANK YOU! May God continue to bless, replenish and strengthen you as you continue to serve others.

We are immensely grateful and proud of what can be accomplished when the Ferncourt family comes together with a shared purpose.

🌱 Building Ferncourt, Together! 💙💛

We asked for assistance with upgrading the Ferncourt High School playfield, and once again, our alumni and friends stepped up! 🙏🏽

A huge THANK YOU for the donation of 7 bags of grass seeds to Sheldon Brady, Tyrone “Hulk” Ellis, Camilo Trench, Esmin Adams and other FHSAASF donors.

Special thanks also to Kerry Ann Walford, whose donation of $20,000 was used primarily to assist with clearing the playfield in preparation for planting.

We also extend our sincere thanks to David Wright for his generous contribution of $20,000, which will be used towards the purchase of much-needed chairs.

Our next need: hoses and sprinklers! 💦🌱 Once the grass is planted, we want to ensure it is properly watered, healthy and maintained.

Every contribution takes us one step closer to providing our students with the facilities they deserve. Thank you for your generosity, and please continue to support Ferncourt!

Our hearts are full. 💙💛

A huge thank you to everyone who has answered the call to support the Ferncourt Football Programme and our Boarding House.

🙏 Special thanks to:
• Kerry-Ann Chong for the donation of a much-needed washing machine—an essential item for the daily operation of the dormitory.
• Damion Fullerton (“Dinks”) for generously donating ground provisions to help feed our boys.
• Ewan Waldin (“Yellow”) and fellow members of the 1995 Past Students for donating football boots to support our student-athletes.

We asked for your help, and so many of you stepped up. Your generosity is making a real difference in the lives of our boys, both on and off the field.

Please continue to support the programme. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us provide a safe, nurturing environment where our students can learn, grow, and excel.

Thank you for believing in Ferncourt. Together, we are building champions. 💙💛⚽

⚽ PRE-SEASON MATCHDAY RECAP⚽

Another valuable day of preparation for our Ferncourt High School Football Programme as the team continues its journey toward the upcoming season.

Match Results
🟰 Ferncourt High 2️⃣–2️⃣ Herbert Morrison Technical High (Draw)
🔴 Ferncourt High 0️⃣–3️⃣ Muschett High (Loss)

While the results may not have gone entirely our way, every match presents an opportunity to learn, improve, and grow stronger. Our young men continue to build chemistry, sharpen their skills, and develop the discipline and resilience that define successful teams.

Progress isn’t always measured by the scoreboard;it is measured by the lessons learned, the effort given, and the commitment to becoming better with every training session and every match.

We are proud of our players for their determination and thankful to our coaches, supporters, alumni, and everyone who continues to stand behind the programme.

The journey continues, and so does the work.
