A forum, organized by Justice For Windrush Generations and The National Association of Returned Citizens - St Mary Chapter.
The aims is to address the impacts of the British Government's Hostile Environment policy and provide information about the Windrush Status and Compensation schemes.

We enter 2026 optimistically with community groups willing, not only to socialise but, to participate individually and collectively for members' well-being. Advocacy, more than ever, demands varying groups attention.

In this newsletter we draw attention to pressing issues: US suspension of immigration visa; UK dual citizenship; and UK pension and Tax Reform.

Also, we welcome new members to this platform.

A folk song of daily life tells of ‘Elena’, a country girl who could not correctly identify cerasee - a bitter herb steeped to cleanse the body of harmful toxins. Her mother (har muma) sent Elena from the food-garden to boil cerasee to ease her stomach pains; but found Elena boiling poisonous vine instead.
