Our club offers opportunities for our members and those interested in making a difference. Through meetings, social events, and volunteer projects, our members learn about issues facing our community and communities all over the world, by partnering with local, national, and global experts to exchange ideas about potential solutions and to draw up action plans to respond. Along with these opportun
ities to serve, members also are able to regularly network, resulting in lifelong friendships and business connections. We are working with various partners on the following projects:
Water Distribution - We distribute water and other meaningful supplies to the homeless in the main town of our community.
Women Empowering Women - We connect with community centers that provide special services for young women in society. We offer encouragement, empowerment, and supplies.
Ending Polio - Partnering with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the World Health Organization, and UNICEF to end polio, once and for all. We believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues. And becoming a member enables you to meet your community's leaders and to make an impact both home and around the world. And by Growing More Doing More, we will extend our efforts towards creating awareness to our Youths in our communities. With your help, we can build our youths by:
Building Local Economies by focusing on financial literacy workshops and distribution of small grants to eligible start-up businesses.
Empowering Women and Youths by focusing on youth literacy, domestic violence, and partnering with relevant agencies mainly in St. Ann.
Promoting Peace by focusing on spreading awareness in our local schools and bring peace together through music, a Hope Concert. These three projects that are to be undertaken by our club in 2021/2022 align with the seven of these global objectives; Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution, Disease Prevention and Treatment, Water and Sanitation, Maternal and Child Health, Basic Education and Literacy.
