A quick look back at Youth at Work! GAIA’s first Youth and Policy Workshop!

The Workshop highlighted the stagnation of unemployment, calling for a collaborative approach between civic, the
youth and state-level actors.

Exciting team icebreakers led to an energetic morning, with presentations on the importance of civic proactivity. The roundtables saw expert insights bridging the gap between youths and national policies.

Lef by GAIA research associate Mui’zz Abdul Khalid, panel discussions on Youth, Work and Policy, highlighted the need for a structural and individual shift to limiting mindsets.

We are extremely grateful for our special guests Yang Berhormat Queenie Chong, Khairunnisa Ash’ari, Izzah, Ayesha Salleh, Tiwin Aji and Afiq Izzudin for contributing to the workshop, and of course for our wonderful participants and youths from multiple NGO’s and Institutions across Brunei.
