🤝 Da 50 anni è al fianco delle istituzioni come parte del sistema nazionale di allertamento, portando avanti come componente del "Sistema Paese" anche progetti internazionali.

È stato un onore partecipare all'evento "Italia & Pakistan: 125 anni di storia e collaborazione" presso la Camera dei deputati, per raccontare l'impegno dell'industria italiana nello sviluppo di sistemi avanzati per il monitoraggio meteorologico e ambientale, strumenti oggi indispensabili per comprendere e affrontare gli effetti del cambiamento climatico.

L'iniziativa, promossa da Ev-K2-CNR, ha visto la partecipazione di rappresentanti delle istituzioni italiane e pakistane, del mondo della cooperazione internazionale, della ricerca scientifica, dell'imprenditoria, dell'alpinismo e dello sport.

Per CAE è intervenuto il Presidente Guido Bernardi, che ha rimarcato l'importanza della collaborazione tra associazioni, istituzioni e industria e ha ricordato i principali progetti portati avanti dalla nostra azienda in Pakistan, dall'installazione di stazioni meteo alla formazione per i tecnici del Dipartimento di Meteorologia locale, fino ai sistemi di monitoraggio e allerta per le aree esposte ai rischi legati ai ghiacciai e ai laghi glaciali.

A study recently published in the international journal Education Sciences MDPI (MDPI) by a group of researchers from the of Environmental Sciences and Policy at the degli Studi di Milano of Milan, led by Professor Guglielmina Diolaiuti, explores how environmental sciences can be communicated more effectively through multimodal approaches enhanced by artificial intelligence.

Among the six international case studies featured in the paper are two initiatives developed with the contribution of :

🏔️ & Students (Pakistan) – a capacity-building project that trained hundreds of university students in glacier monitoring, remote sensing, and GIS technologies.

🤖 AI-powered avatars at the Asian Development Bank Annual Meeting 2025 – an innovative exhibition format that combined scientific posters with AI-generated video presenters to engage international audiences and decision-makers.
The research highlights the growing importance of communication skills in environmental sciences and shows how innovative tools can make complex topics such as climate change, glaciers, and water resources more accessible and impactful.

We are proud to see EvK2CNR's experience recognized within an international academic framework that connects research, education, technology, and sustainable development.

From the first explorations of the Karakoram to cutting-edge research on glaciers and climate change, Italy and Pakistan share a remarkable story of friendship, science and cooperation.

On **9 June 2026**, the Italian Chamber of Deputies will host a high-level conference bringing together institutional leaders, scientists, diplomats, entrepreneurs and athletes to celebrate **125 years of relations between Italy and Pakistan** and explore future opportunities for collaboration.

Italian high-altitude research takes center stage in the USA! 🇮🇹

We are thrilled to announce that today, May 27, Prof. Annalisa Cogo (Vice President of and world-renowned expert in mountain medicine) is presenting at the American College of Sports Medicine Annual Meeting 2026 in Salt Lake City, Utah! 🇺🇸
This is the world’s premier sports medicine and exercise science congress, gathering over 6,000 specialists globally.

Prof. Cogo’s lecture is a major international recognition of her work and the 30+ years of multidisciplinary research promoted by EvK2CNR in the and .
🎯 The Lecture: “Acclimatize properly before climbing: still a dogma?”

As part of the prestigious /ECSS Exchange Lecture series, Prof. Cogo is challenging one of the historical pillars of mountain medicine: the dogma of slow, linear acclimatization.

🌍🤝 Ricerca, cooperazione e sviluppo sostenibile al centro di , il principale appuntamento italiano dedicato alla cooperazione internazionale, in corso oggi e domani a Roma.

Per questo evento rappresenta un momento particolarmente importante: da oltre 30 anni molti dei nostri progetti in Pakistan e Nepal vengono realizzati grazie al sostegno dell’ Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (AICS).

Durante la giornata inaugurale, il Vice Direttore Generale della DGCS-MAECI Carlo Batori ha sottolineato la necessità di una cooperazione sempre più innovativa, capace di creare sinergie tra istituzioni, organizzazioni internazionali, imprese private e società civile.

Un approccio che riflette pienamente il modello operativo di EvK2CNR: integrare ricerca scientifica, tutela ambientale e sviluppo delle comunità locali nelle regioni montane dell’Himalaya e del Karakorum. 🏔️🔬
