By building a cross-border innovation ecosystem, it will support 200 SMEs with mentoring, incubation and tech transfer, while developing digital hubs, AI tools and pilot actions.

🚀 Stakeholder engagement starts now!

Patras hosted the first BLUE TECH Introductory Meeting & Stakeholder Meeting, bringing together stakeholders from across the Greece-Italy cooperation area to kick off a journey of collaboration, dialogue and innovation.

After mapping key actors across the participating regions, the project has officially launched its stakeholder engagement phase. Companies, public authorities, research organisations and innovation actors had the opportunity to meet, exchange ideas and explore how they can contribute to shaping BLUE TECH's future.

This is just the beginning. Over the coming months, stakeholders will take part in capacity-building workshops, mentoring sessions and co-creation activities, helping design and refine the project's seven pilot actions while building new cross-border connections and opportunities.

Because the best solutions for the Blue Economy are created together. 🌊🤝

🤝 From ideas to action: the BLUE TECH partnership meets in Patras! 🇬🇷

Today, BLUE TECH partners came together in Patras to review progress, align on the next steps and continue building a shared vision for a more innovative and sustainable Blue Economy.

The meeting focused on two of the project's core pillars:
🔹 Stakeholder engagement – discussing how to involve businesses, public authorities, researchers and local communities in the co-design of the seven pilot actions.
🔹 Pilot actions – presenting strategies, identifying synergies and exploring how each pilot can generate lasting cross-border value for SMEs across Greece and Italy.

Beyond the agenda, the meeting was also an opportunity to strengthen the partnership, share experiences and reinforce the collaborative spirit that drives BLUE TECH forward.

📍 Tomorrow, the journey continues with the first BLUE TECH Stakeholder Meeting, where local stakeholders will help shape the project's pilot actions and officially launch the stakeholder engagement phase.

🌊 BLUE TECH is getting ready for its next milestone!

In recent weeks, project partners have been working together to prepare the next phase of activities, with a strong focus on collaboration, stakeholder engagement and the co-design of the project's pilot actions.

During a recent online meeting, it was confirmed that the next BLUE TECH Steering Committee Meeting will take place in Patras on 16–17 July.

Those days will also mark the start of an important new chapter for the project: the first Stakeholder Meeting, organised by the Economic Chamber of Greece. The event will kick off a series of workshops, mentoring sessions and collaborative activities involving stakeholders and talents from across the Programme area.

A lot is happening behind the scenes, and this is only the beginning!
