E’ conosciuto come il “Paese delle fragole”, grazie alla sua produzione di piccole e dolcissime fragoline di bosco.
Ogni anno la prima domenica di giugno, a Nemi si svolge la Sagra delle Fragole.
In quei giorni a Nemi si possono trovare ovunque Dolci e liquori a base di fragole, e spettacoli folcloristici.

Gli antichi Romani usavano il lago di Nemi per i rituali sacri volti a celebrare la dea Diana.
