ISRT Telangana Team's Celebration of Women's Day 2026
The Indian Society of Radiographers and Technologists (ISRT), Telangana team, celebrated Women's Day on March 7th at Woodbridge Hotel, Lakdi Ka Pul, Hyderabad. Over fifty female radiographers from different hospitals of Telangana participated in the event, which focused on women's appreciation, growth, and career development.

The team honoured all the female participants with a crown, shawl, and a beautifully designed memento. The event featured talks on women empowerment and career growth, inspiring the attendees to strive for excellence. The program was a wonderful blend of cultural activities followed by dinner.

The participants were also motivated to increase membership registrations. Overall, it was a wonderful event designed by ISRT to appreciate and encourage women in the field of radiologic technology.

SCISRT 26 & Membership Campaign Report

ISRT Pathanamthitta Academic Zone

The SCISRT 26 & Membership & SCISRT Registration Campaign was successfully conducted under the ISRT Pathanamthitta Academic Zone led by Comdr. Dr. Daniel K.J. and Mr. Ajith Ananthakrishnan from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Hospitals Visited

1. Sanjeevani Hospital, Chengannur – Met Mr. Ratheesh (Radiology Manager) and radiographers.

2. KM Cherian Hospital – Met Mr. Biju Thomas (Radiology Manager) and radiographers.

3. St. Gregorios Medical Mission Multi-Speciality Hospital, Parumala – Met Dr. Anirudh Nair (HOD Radiodiagnosis), Dr. Bibin (IR Head), Sreejith, Rajesh, Anish and radiology team members

4. Tiruvalla Medical Mission Hospital – Met Mr. Finny Thomas (Academic Head), Mr. Reji (Radiology Manager), and Mr. Litty (MRI In-charge) and junior radiographers

During the visits, awareness regarding SCISRT-26, ISRT Membership, and SCISRT Registration was promoted among radiology professionals.

The second schedule of the campaign visit is planned on Friday, 13 March 2026.

Interested organising team members and executive committee members are welcome to accompany and join the campaign visit.

NCISRT 2026 & ISRT Leadership Meeting

We are pleased to share that a high-level meeting was held on February 23, 2026, with the Hon'ble Health Minister of Telangana, Shri Damodar Raja Narasimha Garu.

During this productive discussion, the following key points were highlighted:

ISRT’s Contributions: We briefed the Hon'ble Minister on the Indian Society of Radiographers & Technologists' (ISRT) consistent efforts toward social welfare and the advancement of radiological technology in healthcare.

NCISRT 2026: Detailed discussions were held regarding the upcoming National Conference (NCISRT 2026), which is set to be hosted in Hyderabad (Hi-Tech City) from December 4th–6th, 2026.

Government Collaboration: The Minister took note of our professional milestones and discussed ways to further integrate advanced radiological standards into the state's health vision.

This meeting marks a significant step in gaining government patronage and visibility for our upcoming National Conference. Let us continue to work together to make NCISRT 2026 a landmark event for the radiography fraternity!
