We are serving as a Not-for-Profit Company, registered with Ministry of Commerce Affairs, Government of India, under Section 8 of The Companies Act, 2013. Between now and 2025, about 250 million youth are estimated to enter the Indian workforce, while only 5% of the youth aged 20-24 have obtained vocational skills through a formal training system. Particularly, two important concerns are required to be taken care about vocational skill development training. First, an appropriate Skill Set for particular course, training ex*****on procedure, trainer's training, adequate feedback system must be developed through participation of industries and field experts. Second, assessment of skill competency acquired by trainees through scientific way, to ensure well trained candidate supply to the industries. An assessment agency of reputation with scientific background and industry support is required not only to certify the grades obtained through assessment but also quantify the skill attainment of candidates. Taking these issues as an opportunity to cultivate skills among the youth of nation all over the country without leaving any bias of regional or resource limitations, Yuva Skill Foundation is establishing the "Skill Development Centre" to drive vocational training courses for skill development from foundation level to skill upgrade to expert level, through well researched scientific methodologies. Not only vocational skills soft skills are also of prime importance in today’s competitive world, and having great academic qualifications is not enough to get into sought-after colleges or industry. Possessing soft skills such as communication, aptitude and presentation skills is essential to get ahead. Yuva Skill Foundation is of opinion to introduce 'soft skills training' at foundation level of each vocational skill course. "Institute of Skill Assessment and Certification" is initiated to create assessment plans for various courses, certificates and diploma on vocational training, skill Upgradation, on-job training etc. Further, to carry out scientific research, feedback review studies, standardization of assessment tools, acquire national and international reputation of assessment and certification by institutions and industries.
