Koshi - Bengal Cultural & Tourism Festival 2026 in Birtamode

DATE: 7th & 8th April, 2026
The Koshi - Bengal Cultural and Tourism Festival 2026 commenced on April 7 in Birtamode, East Nepal, bringing together vibrant cultures and tourism opportunities from Koshi Province and West Bengal. The two-day festival features around 30 stalls from India and Nepal, showcasing local cuisine, handicrafts, tourism packages, and cultural heritage, including special participation from Sikkim.

The event aims to strengthen cross-border relations, promote tourism, and foster cultural harmony between the two regions. Key dignitaries, tourism officials, and cultural personalities highlighted the importance of such initiatives in boosting economic growth and regional cooperation.

The festival also includes cultural performances, film screenings, and recognitions of notable contributors in arts and culture, making it a significant platform for cultural exchange and tourism promotion between Nepal and India.
