Building an orchard is a long-term decision - one that requires planning, infrastructure, and patience.

Somnath Rupner’s farm is now home to nearly 2,500 trees, including amla, mango, guava, sandalwood, sapota, and tamarind.

With support from AGRO RANGERS through saplings, drip irrigation support, pipes, and organic inputs, the farm has steadily transitioned toward a more diversified and resilient system.

Investments like farm ponds, irrigation systems, and tree-based farming create stronger foundations for long-term farm stability.

Akshay Daphal transitioned from conventional crops like jowar and fenugreek to an organic fruit plantation model with papaya intercropped between mango and guava.

The results are already visible:

With organic inputs, drip irrigation, and diversified cropping, this model is helping farmers reduce dependency on chemicals while building healthier farms.

From growing seasonal pulses to shifting toward a tree-based system, Kaluram Daphal’s farm reflects a practical transition. With support from AGRO RANGERS, he introduced tamarind, jamun, and moringa, supported by drip irrigation and organic inputs.

Even in the early years, intercropping with moringa is generating income, while the trees build long-term stability.

From sugarcane to a diversified farm - this shift didn’t happen overnight.
On 2 acres, Kundalik Masalkar has moved toward a moringa-based system with intercropping, drip irrigation, and organic inputs like cow manure and vermicompost.

The results are already visible:
- Faster crop cycles
- Lower water use
- ₹50,000–₹60,000 income from cucumber in one cycle

With one acre already generating returns and another coming up, this is how small shifts begin to build more stable farms.
